E-assignment 2:3

- Look at him, Becca. Over there.
- Where? Oh, you mean Thomas. What about him, Cara?
- He´s kinda´ cute, don´t you think?
- Aauum… Yeah, well. I guess he is. Why do you care?
- I´ve been told by Sarah, who´ve heard from Amanda that he likes me.
No that I know i´m starting to wonder, should I brake up with Adam?
- (Becca looked at Cara, she was clearly surprised) What?! I mean, you do as you like, i´d just… But Adam´s so perfect?
- But I don´t know if I like him anymore, he´s just interested in football, that´s all he ever do. Training. I´m tired of it. And then, when I heard that Thomas likes me and… well I think I like him to.
- (Becca thinks for a second) If you brake up with Adam to be with Thomas, is it okay by you if i´ll date Adam?
- Hmm…We have been together five days so it´s not like i´m gonna get over him soon. But, guess so. Sure!
- Thanks!

E-assignment 2:2

A young couple, Anna and Max, are sitting in their livingroom. It’s a Friday night and they are having a fight about Anna going out with her friends. The atmosphere is tense between them.

- You can´t be serious?! I´m a grown woman. If I want to go out with my girlfriends there is nothing you can say that would make me change my mind!
- Honey, I just don´t trust…
- What? You don´t trust me?
- Of course I trust you! I just don´t trust your friends or other men.
- I can´t belive you. You really think that I go out just to flirt. And this has nothing to do with my friends so don´t drag them into this discussion. And by the way, I think that you owe me after what happened at your company party last year.
- Are you really not going to make me regret that…slip?
- Well, don´t think that just because you kissed a colleague I´ll go out and do the same.
- The reason I don´t trust anyone regarding this is because I know how easy it is to fall for the preassure and exitment. We have already had such a hard time with my slip. I don´t want you doing the same in rage.
- Is that what you think? That i´d do something like that out of rage or just to get back at you? You really don´t know me at all, do you? And besides, you can´t possibly meen that your slip has been as hard for on as it has on me! You were the one making the choice of cheat on me.
- Baby, I really regret that, and besides, it was only a kiss. I think you better get over that it even happened. It´s not like i´m going to do it again. If she wasn´t really hot. (He had a teasing smile on his lips as he said the last).
- Oh, you thin that´s funny? Do you really think that I would find this amusing?
I´m going out, whether you like it or not. End of discussion!
- Well, f that’s how you feel perhaps you should stay out, not coming back.
- Maybe you´re right. I don´t think we have anything in common anymore. I´m going to stay with Ashley tonight, and tomorrow i´ll come here so we can talk and pick up my stuff. And, Max, please don´t call me tonight!
(She turned around and left the apartment, and Max, feeling happy of her decision).

E-assignment 2:1

Two office workers who know but dislike each other are trapped in a lift/an elevator with a sales representative who they´ve never met before but who they´re both immediately attracted to. Help is on its way.

(A thud is heard from the elevator)
Sales representative: What was that sound? What happened?
Office worker 1: I think we have stopped. There must be something wrong with the elevator.
Sales representative: I need to get out of here. I just hate small spaces.
Office worker 2: Calm down, lady. There will soon come help, i´m sure of it. In the meantime we really should get the most of the time, there is no point in getting worried.
Office worker 1: Yeah, this is a big company. Help is on its way. By the way i´m Tom. And you are? (He stretches out his hand to greet)
Sales representative: Amy. Nice to meet you.
Office worker 2: I´m John. So, Amy, do you come here often. (He makes a big smile, as if he just came up with the joke).
Sales represemtative: Well, since this is my workplace. Yeah, I do come here often. (Clearly not amused by his joke).
Office worker 2: (He gets offended). Oh lighten up. Don´t be so boring!
Office worker 1: Back off, John. She clearly doesn’t want to be hit on by you.
Office worker 2: Shut up, Tom. This is non of your business.
Office worker 1: As a matter of fact, I think this is my business. If i´m alone in an elevator with a nice women that a prick like you are hitting on, badly I have to add, I see it as my job to help her. Saved by the bell!

(They could feel the elevator start moving again and they soon arrived at the next floor).

Office worker 1: Amy, do you feel like grabbing something to eat? Maybe dinner? I mean, to celebrate that we made it out of that elevator.
Sales representative: Haha! Sure, Tom.Why not.
(They both turned their back on John and walked away).

E-assignment 1

There he was, alone in the pouring rain, wondering if this was it. He looked at the bright lights of the ambulance as it drove off. He felt empty inside and could not understand what had just happened. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and winched. He heard a voice but did not want to listen, nothing seamed important at the moment. “Please come in, it´s pouring outside”. The voice belonged to his sister, Anna, but Alex just stand still, looking into the dark. The ambulance was now long gone, but it didn´t matter. How could anything matter again?
He had met her for the first time almost seven years earlier. She had worked at the local coffeeshop and even though Alex didn´t drink coffee he used to visit the shop every day just to see her. Her name was Amanda and Alex thought that she was the most fascinating girl he had met. He knew straight away that she was the girl he wanted to marry some day. And they did get married, three years later, a beautiful wedding and the reception in a castle nearby.
As he stood in the church waiting for her to begin the walk down the aisle, when the music begun he turned around and at the moment he saw her he felt the most happy he´d ever done. At that moment he made a promise to himself and to her that they would be together forever and that no matter what happened he would take care of her.
Their night had started as many other sundaynights. They had decided to have a quiet evening at home and as Alex began to cook Amanda decided to leave the house to drive to rent a movie. He plugged in his iPod to his ears and started to cook. When she had not come home within an hour he got the feeling that something was not right. As he turned off the music he heard voices on the street outside. Many people had gathered on the sidewalk just outside their house, all of them looked a woman on the ground. He heard two policemen talking to a young man sitting in the back of an ambulance. He had his arm in a bandage. The man looked sad and seemed in shock. It was now that Alex realized who it was lying on the ground, Amanda. He ran towards her but was soon stopped by a medic. “Do you know this woman?” He asked.
“She is my wife” Alex answered.
The medic looked at him and quietly said, “I´m sorry…” But as he heard those words Alex broked down, his whole world was shattered. And nothing else that he was told mattered.
It was not until later that Alex was told that she had just backed out from the driveway and drove off when a young man came driving and crashed into her car. He had made it with a few minor injurys but Amanda had not been as lucky.
Everything they had been through together seemed like forever ago as Alex began to walk back into the house, their house. He was soaking wet but he did not feel anything else but sadness and a feeling of that he had let her down. “Amanda” he said quietly to himfelf as he had done many times before. It used to make him feel relived, safe and happy but it now sounded empty. He looked around as if he waited for her to answer him. She never did.
